Leaving the Keys
Jay and I finished up the last day of fishing by chasing sharks, reds, cudas, and jacks on the flats. We caught a bunch on the fly but also caught a bunch on bait as well. It was a great winter and the snook fishing was excellent. We had many snook over ten pounds throughout the winter. We also averaged one tarpon to the boat every weekend on bait. Numbers and variety were the keys words this winter. I hate leaving but I'm pumped up to start fishing again in New Jersey.
