Fun Day in the Backbay

Fished with Frank, Emmit, Nate and Josh in the bay. Lost count if the
fluke we released but it was over 25. No keepers today but lots of
fun. Nate was high hook for the day!

Sharking Continues

Fished with Tino and Tiffany on Monday for sharks. We landed eight
dusky and brown sharks up to thirty pounds. Sharking continues to be
excellent and a great way to pull on big fun fish without the ride
offshore.

30 Fluke Plus Keepers

Fished with Alan, his son Alan and nephew Matt. We fished the bay and
had great action with flounder the entire trip. We ended up with
around 30 plus two keepers to 20 inches. We also had more than a few
triple headers as well. Flounder fishing continues to be excellent.

Licking the Chum Bag...

In the afternoon! Went back out in the afternoon and fished with Mark
and his son Dominic. Dominic wanted to catch a shark and five minutes
after the chumbag hit the water he was hooked up to a nice dusky that
was around forty pounds. We went 8 for 12 and we only used one rod for
most of the trip. This was Dominic's birthday present so he reeled in
almost all of the fish. The biggest fish of the afternoon was around
sixty pounds. Check out the pics and note the sharks were licking the
chumbag. It would have been a great day for sharks on the fly. Perfect
conditions. Happy birthday Dominic!

14 Sharks in the Morning

Fished with Mike S and Mike. We went sharking and had a banner
morning. We went 14 for 20 on brown and dusky sharks to sixty five
pounds. Little Mike had the biggest fish of the day and muscled in a
shark that weighed almost as much as he does without any assistance.
What a great young angler!

less than four hours including a four pounder. Great action. The

Luc's Six Pound Fluke

Fished with Jay, Luc, and Ella in the bay. One the very first drop
with literally two seconds on the bottom Luc hooked this monster six
pounder and expertly brought it to the net. We also had a three pound
keeper and LOTS of throwbacks. We had several triple headers and it
reminded me of the old time party boat fishing with every angler
dangling a fish. What a great fishery we are experiencing this year!

Fished with Kristen, Jake, and Action Jackson today for sharks. We had
action almost immediately. Totals. 3 brown sharks, four dusky sharks
to sixty pounds, and one surprise blacktip shark around forty pounds.
We also missed or broke off another five or six. I was kinda busy so I
didn't get picks of the biggest sharks but Jake got pics of the
blacktip. I will post them when I get them.

Striper on the Fly

Fished with Chad S during the night tide. He wanted to catch a bass on
the fly. So we did. Persistence pays off.

Family Fluking

Fished with Chad S and family in the bay. We had 35 flounder and one
three pound keeper. Action all day. Lots of multiples. Great fun.

despite the iffy weather. Flounder fishing is the best it's been in

Inshore Sharking

Fished with Rick H and friends. Went out in the afternoon and had a
good day. We went five for five on brown and dusky sharks to 30 pounds
on bait. Lots of fun pulling on big fish close to the beach.

Hammerhead Surprise

Fished with Chase and Steph K. We were inshore sharking. Chase was
intersted in sharks on the fly. A six foot hammerhead showed up in the
slick. We hooked it on bait and promptly broke it off. It returned
and tried to eat the fly twice. We also released a dusky and a brown
shark on bait.
