4.5 Pound Fluke
Fished with Monica, Greg, and friends in the bay. We had a great evening catching flounder from the first drop with consistent action throughout the trip. We had a double header and the fish of the day was 4.5 pounds. We ended up with three keeper flounder. Pro Tip: Lift your jig up off the bottom regularly. You should feel it hit bottom when you drop it back down. You should always feel something...if you don't feel anything there are a few possibilities: 1. Seaweed. 2. Too much line out. 3. You have a fish. Many times the flounder just pick up the bait and swim with the jig.
