More Keeper Fluke

Fished with Carol and Greg yesterday in the ocean for fluke. We headed out to some deep water wrecks in search of some bigger fish. We ended up keeping two nice fluke and releasing a bunch of shorts. We also had a bunch of small blues and some seabass.

Ocean Fluke

Fished with Marc and Richard Tuesday morning in the ocean for fluke. We caught a few keepers to four pounds and released a bunch of shorts.

Stripers in the Wind

Fished with the Mikes on Sunday. It was windy. Very windy. Hard northeast. Most guys would have been worried. Not the Mikes. With those guys the conditions don't matter. We gave it a go and caught and released two nice stripers to 26 inches. We also had a bunch of strikes we missed. Plenty of action.

Stripers on the Flats

Patty and I headed out last night at sunset. We had two stripers and a bluefish on poppers. Even though the water temp was almost 80 degrees the bass still were biting and happy.

Big Fluke

Fished with Barry and family on Thursday. We went fluking in the ocean. We had two keeper fluke. One was about four pounds and the other was about six pounds. We also had done throwbacks as well.

Big Dusky and a Hammerhead

Fished with Brendan and friends on Tuesday for sharks. It started out slow but we pulled it off in the end with a brown shark, a 130 pound plus dusky shark, and a five foot hammerhead shark. The big sharks are in town.

Sharks

Fished with Nick, Mike, and Mike on Friday for sharks. We released a brown shark and a few dusky sharks to sixty pounds. It was a beautiful day. We also saw several hammerhead sharks throughout the day.
