Islamorada Day Three
Fished with Mike and Ryan day three. We caught lots of fish all day including jacks, mangroves, mutton snappers, lookdowns, and others. We also broke off two tarpon. Pro Tip: There is usually a sweet spot in the current cycle. A time in the tide when the current is moving just right. Be there at the right time and the bite will go off.
Snook and Redfish
Fished with Mike and Ryan in the Everglades. We caught snook and redfish in the Everglades. We also had a few encounters with salt water crocodiles. It was a beautiful day. Pro Tip: Slow down your retrieve in off color water. Fish can zero in of smell and vibration of a live shrimp.

Islamorada
Fished with Matt and Gabby in the Keys. It was windier than usual. We made it work though. Saturday we caught jacks, snappers, and cudas. The fish of the day was a nine pound plus jack. Pro Tip: Knowledge of places to fish in the lee of the land is crucial to turning a blow out into a fun day.

Islamorada Family Fishing
Took the boat to the Keys for the winter. Patty, Ryan, Brady, and I had fun bending the rod on a variety of fish as usual. More to follow.
