Ocean Fluke and Sea Bass

Fished with Tom and Frank yesterday morning. We hit the ocean and caught and released a bunch of big sea bass on jigs and some fluke.

Bay Fluke

Fished with Danielle and Rick on Saturday morning. Despite the wind we caught a few fluke and had fun.

8.5 Pound 27 Inch Fluke

Fished today with Bob, Matt, Nick, and Alec. We went fluke fishing in the bay. We caught a bunch of shorts but we had a one monster keeper. Bob caught the fluke of his life when he hooked into a 8.5 pound, 27 inch fluke! We were in the bay and this was one nice fish! We also caught some blues on jigs to round out the day.

Sharks and Blues

Fished today with Scott, Kevin, and family. We went sharking but a slow drift hurt us. We had two small spinner sharks. We the switched it up and changed location and strategy and caught a bunch of blues on jigs. Sometimes you have to go with the flow.

Florida Preview

I fish out of Islamorada, Florida Keys from Christmas through Easter (December through April). My specialty is winter weekend fishing getaways. I will help plan and arrange your fishing weekend in Islamorada. A standard weekend involves flying down on Friday night. We fish a mega day Saturday (sunrise to sunset) and a full day Sunday (7-3). Three day weekends are two mega days and a full day. I can help with flights, car, and lodging. This is a great mini vacation you can fit around work. If mega days aren't your thing, we simply fish around your schedule. We catch fish regardless of the weather and it is always a blast. Most days involve several different types of fish and good numbers of them. It will definitely be a trip you will remember. Sharks!

Fished Friday afternoon with Pritesh and family. We caught and released spinner and dusky sharks up to 100 pounds. The shark bite continues to be strong.

Fluke

Fished with Tom and John on Saturday in the bay for fluke. We caught some shorts and we had one keeper.
