Back Bay Fluke

Fished with Tom and family yesterday. The fluke in the bay has been great but not many keepers. We released over two dozen fluke plus lots of small seabass.

Shark Action Continues

Fished with Rob and crew on Tuesday afternoon. We went Sharking and the bite was on. We had several dusky releases and a few nice spinner sharks mixed in. The fish of the day was a 60-70 pound spinner shark. We had a few big duskys as well. The average size of these fish is way up lately.

6 Pound Fluke

Fished Mike and crew today for fluke in the ocean. We had great conditions and the fluke chewed. We had some big fluke. The biggest was a six pound fluke. We also had a five and a four pound fluke as well. We caught some bluefish and a bunch of short fluke as well. The ocean fluking is heating up.

Big Sharks Plus Hammerhead

Fished with Lou and his daughters yesterday for sharks. We had a great trip releasing several dusky sharks. The fish of the day were a 100 plus pound and an 80 pound dusky. We had a great average size. We also had a nice hammerhead release as icing on the cake.

Fluke and Striper

Fished with Ted and family yesterday in the bay. We caught a bunch of fluke. The fish of the day was this 24" striper that ate a bucktail while we were fluking. Lots of fish, great day!

Back Bay Action

Fished with Bob, Todd, Colin, Jason, Christian, and Cole in the bay for fluke. We caught a bunch, well over 25, including a keeper. The bite was and has been consistent. Great action for the family.

Mahi on the Fly

Fished with Jim and Tim on Thursday. They wanted to try something different so we headed out in the ocean in search of mahi on the fly. We found a few and both caught their first on the fly. We also had small amberjacks, a bluefish, and banded rudder fish. We had shots at two cobia and several much larger mahi that wouldn't eat. Really neat day. We have some beautiful warm water that has been bringing some pelagics closer to home.
