Big Sharks
Fished today with Jerry, Greg, and crew. We hit the ocean for some more shark action. We were rewarded with nine dusky and brown shark releases to over 80 pounds. We had some neat visual bites as the sharks were biting close to the boat.
More Sharks!
Jay, Luc, Patty, Trevor, Joe, and I headed out to catch some sharks. We had a bunch of dusky shark releases. We had one dusky shark release on the fly as well. It has been very good and some of the best action around.

Sharks on the Fly
Fished this morning with Peter, Tom, and crew. We caught and released several dusky sharks on the flyrod and a bunch on bait. The action on the fly has been awesome with great sight fishing action. Watching the bite is half the fun. This is truly an excellent fishery that will put your ten weight to the test. These are some if the biggest fish most people will ever catch on the fly. What a ton of fun. This is why God created backing.
Family Fluking
Fished with Joe, Kelly, Andy, Colin, Maggie, and Dave. We fished the bay Saturday afternoon for fluke. We had really great action and caught and released over twenty five fish. The fish of the day was a 22 inch fluke that we kept. The fluke action has been really great.
Sharks!
Fished with Chuck and family on Saturday morning. We had a blast catching and releasing dusk it sharks in the ocean. We had around twelve releases. The action was fast and furious at times. It was a blast. The sharking is on fire.
Flyrod Stripers
Patty and I headed out on Friday night to catch some stripers at sunset. We had three or four bass and I had one on the fly. It was a beautiful evening.

Back Bay Stripers
Patty wanted to catch some stripers on the flats for her birthday so we headed out this afternoon. The bass bit well and we caught a bunch. We had six striper releases on poppers. The fish of the night was a 27" bass. We had tons of bites as well. Lots of action. The evening tides are great this week. These fish can be caught on the fly as well. Lots of life and great water quality.
Family Fishing
Fished today with EJ, Lex, Helene, Sean, Kelly, and Morgan. We did a hall day trip in the bay. We caught a bunch of fluke all morning but we had no keepers. We had a few that were close but all went back to grow bigger for the next time.
Four Pound Fluke
Fished yesterday with the Mikes. We caught a ton of fluke and had two keepers. The fish of the day was a four pounder that big Mike caught.

Sharking is Excellent
Fished yesterday with Anthony, Trish, and family. We headed out for an afternoon of sharking. Fishing was excellent and we released twelve dusky and spinner sharks from 20-130 pounds. The fish of the day was a very thick, 130 pound dusky shark that took over thirty minutes to land. The sharks are here and happy. Sharking typically is good all summer long.

Sharks on the Fly
The sharks are here in force. We had twenty releases of dusky and blacktip sharks on Sunday, including one release on the flyrod. We were primarily bait fishing or we would have easily caught more on the fly. This is truly amazing fishing and I compare it to tarpon fishing minus the jumps. This is a great way to put your ten weight rod to the test and determine if that fly reel you bought was worth the money. I strongly recommend booking your shark trips for the summer to get the days you want. The pictures are from Sunday and the YouTube video is from last year. Click on the link to check it out:

Sharks Are Here!
Fished today with Jim, Sarah, and Dave. We headed out in the ocean to catch sharks. It was a little earlier than I normally chase them but we decided to give it a try anyway. What a great idea! It took a little while to get the sharks going but we hit the jackpot when they started to chew. We ended up with twenty releases. We had a mix of dusky and blacktip sharks up to almost 100 pounds. We also caught and released a nice dusky on the flyrod! They are here and it's on!
Bay Fluke
Patty, Maggie, Jack, Dad, and I went out fluking in the bay yesterday. We had fun. Lots of throwbacks and two keepers to four pounds. The spring tides and hard westerly cleaned up the seaweed issues we were having the past week. Fishing is good.
