Huge Permit!

Fished with Ron in Islamorada. We had a wonderful trip. The highlight of the trip was an enormous permit that Ron caught. This was a fish of a lifetime. The permit was about forty pounds and caught on ten pound test. We caught a bunch of other fish but that will appear in another post. Pro Tip: Landing big fish on light line requires the angler to be able to apply maximum pressure without breaking any of the components. How much pressure varies a different stages of the fight. Know how much is just right either requires experience or careful listening to your captain.
