Late Start to the Season.

Fished yesterday with Mike S and Mike Jr. We gave it our all but no
fish bit today. We are still in search of the season's first striper.
With all this cold weather this winter it appears that we are having a
late start to the season. All that being said I expect the first bass
any day...

Missed Opportunity

Fished with Rich D today in search of the first striper of the year.
Rich hooked a fish which promply threw the hook. We had one other
bite. Perfect weather. Heading out tomorrow morning.

Pompano, Mangrove Snapper, and Speckled Trout

Some pics of assorted Florida fish caught by my father and uncle on
their trip to Florida. Most of the fish were caught back by Flamingo
and near Islamorada. They also caught numerous ladyfish and jacks.

Spring Stripers

March Special: No Fish No Pay.
The first bass of the year are caught in March. Fishing continues to
improve as the waters warm in April. Most of the spring fish are
schoolies but keepers surprise us every year. I have openings March
20-21 and March 27-28. Who will be the first to catch a striper?
