Sharks

Fished with Mike, Ryan, and Ryah in the ocean for sharks on Monday. We ended up releasing three brown sharks on bait. The most exciting part of the trip was when Mike hooked a huge spinner shark over 100 pounds on the fly. We fought it for almost forty minutes before the hook pulled. The weather has been fantastic! Pro Tip: When fly fishing for sharks, if you wait to "feel" the bite you will most likely miss the fish every time. Instead, watch the fly line for movement. When it moves, slowly strip until the line comes tight and start clearing line.
