Montauk Fishing Report
John, Dusty, and I fished Montauk this weekend. Saturday was great. We released a dozen stripers to 27 inches, about a dozen albies, around twenty blues to over ten pounds, a few monster sea bass, some huge porgies, and a fluke. Conditions ranged and changed from very rough to flat calm throughout the day. Spent most if the day at the point. Sunday we caught a bunch of blues and albies. The albies were a little more cooperative today and we ranged all over chasing them around. We caught them on the fly and on metal. Their screaming runs never get old. What a great fish!
