Islamorada Report

Fished with Mike R. in Islamorada. The fishing was a little off from the fast and furious action we had last trip. That being said we caught speckled trout, jacks, ladyfish, and snappers. The wind made things tough for flyfishing. The good news was the larger numbers of tarpon we were seeing. We jumped four tarpon 100 pounds plus on bait and jigs. We also had several other bites on live mullet. Unfortunately, with tarpon being tarpon none made it to the boat. But that's fishing. We had a great time never the less.
