Keeper Fluke

Fished yesterday with Charlie and Mike in the bay. We caught fluke in the bay including a 21" and a 23" fish.

Sharks are Thick!

Fished today with Jason and Brooke. We headed to the ocean to catch some sharks. We had a great day releasing over 15 dusky sharks and one brown shark. Three of the duskys were over 100 pounds. We released a shark three minutes into the day and had fish all day. We had a triple and a few doubles. It was good.

Backbay Fluke

Fished yesterday with John, John, Shay, Jake, Devin, and Tim. We fished the bay for fluke. No keepers but we had action all morning. We also released a small dusky inside of the inlet.

The Sharks are Here!

Fished with Kevin and Zack yesterday in the ocean. We were after sharks and we found them. It took a while to get them going, but once they did the action was good. We ended up releasing seven sharks and we lost another three or four. I also saw another hammerhead but this time he didn't bite.

Fished with Jason and Brad today. Jason was getting married in the afternoon so he wanted to go fishing in the morning. My kind of guy. We headed out to see if the sharks had shown up yet. They did! We caught some dusky sharks and a nice hammerhead. Great way to start the day. Later in the afternoon I had the privilege of dropping Jason off at the ceremony. After we cleaned up of course.

Tuna!

John, Gary, Jay, Luc, and I headed out to the Baltimore Canyon today. We went four for four on yellowfin tuna to around forty pounds. We also had a few skippys. We caught our fish and were back early. Beautiful day!

The New Boat is Here!

The new boat it here and ready to go. Still putting some final touches in her but she is ready to fish.

Fished with Mark and Dino last night. It was beautiful, but we rolled a donut.

Back Bay Family Fluking

Fished with Mike, Mike, little Mike, and Ken in the bay yesterday. We had two nice keepers and we released some smaller fish. It was a slow bite, but it was steady around the top of the tide.

Weakfish on the Fly

I snuck out with my buddy Capt. Chris last night. We were targeting weakfish on the fly and we found them. We caught a lot and it was every cast for a while. Most were small but we did weed through them and picked a few nicer fish. It was very good.

Family Fluking

Fished with Steve, Daniel, and Rebecca yesterday in the bay. We had steady action with flounder all morning. We ended up with around 20 fish and three keepers.

Back Bay Blues

Fished with Rick and his son last Wednesday. Must've forgot to post due to the busy weekend. We had fun catching blues and fluke in the bay. These were his first fish ever! Do you remember your first fish? I do!

Blues

Fished last night with Ben and Dave in the back. We started off with a bluefish and we lost a huge mystery fish when the hook pulled. We moved and found a bluefish mini blitz with fish rolling everywhere. We caught a bunch on poppers and jigs and had a few double headers. We moved on and went looking for stripers. We missed two nice bass on poppers and called it a day.
