Cero Macks and Jacks
Slid out on the reef to catch some mackerels and jacks. Ballyhoo were
scarce on the reef and had to find them inshore. Each bait equals a
fish. Beautiful day and flat calm. Nice change!

Redfish, specks, and ladyfish...
Went to Flamingo today. Mixed bag of redfish, specks, and ladyfish
bent the rods. Gulp shrimp was the ticket for the reds.

Flats Sharks
Went out on the oceanside for a quick pole across the flats. Caught
two bonnethead sharks in short order. Didn't stay long due to the wind
and called it a day.

Oceanside Mixed Bag
Wind was still cranking today making things tough. Went to the reef
with Dusty and Jay and caught mutton snappers, hogfish, and various
other reef dwellers. The highlight of the day was a Palm Beach release
of an estimated 150 lb. shark that ate one of the fish we were reeling in.
We fought the shark for fifteen minutes before the line broke above
the wire leader. The pics are of one of the hogfish.

Flamingo and Friends
Jay, Dusty, and I headed to Flamingo today. The wind was cranking as
usual. Managed several redfish, plus an assortment of ladyfish and
jacks. Good action in the lee of the mangroves.
