Cero Mackerel

Fished the reef today with John Martin. Chummed up some nice cero
mackerels. Caught them on fly as well as some metal. Returned to the
reef and caught several more ceros on fly and on live ballyhoo with
Marie. Slid off the reef to slow troll for sailfish. Jumped one sail
off.

Masked Man

This doesn't look like Florida.

Speckled Trout

Will Martin with a nice speck from Flamingo.

Rain...

Weather was iffy today. Made it to Flamingo and caught a few nice
black drum and some specks with John and Will Martin. Got chased home
by rain squalls. Made it to the Lorelie before the downpour.

Blowin Thirty...

Okay maybe twenty...Plus the biggest fish kill in the last twenty years due to the biggest
cold snap in a long, long time. That's what we were facing today. The
only plus was a warming trend. Went to Flamingo with John and Will
Martin and caught about six redfish and several black drum on live
shrimp and Gulp! Shrimp. All things considered a good day.

Florida Flies

Here is a selection of merkin/kwan/toad type flies that have been
catching the fish in Florida for me. Hopefully, I'll feed them to some
fish this weekend.

One fish two fish...

We caught redfish, speckled trout, ladyfish, jacks, topsail catfish,
and snook today. Fished with Marie and Jodi back at Flamingo. Well
over fifty fish. Tons on the flyrod with the majority on live shrimp.
Great day! Had a huge shark try to eat our snook at boat side twice.
Watch your hands and feet!
